Taken from a quote by Margaret Atwood, "We are the salt seas who uphold these lands," This body of work contains a series of five tondos made of crystallized tears (salt) grown onto cotton fabric.

The efflouresence of the tears (salt water) is the illusion of evaporated tears, tears in which landscapes form and converge into emotional geographies.
Crystallized tears (salt) on cotton. Each piece measuring 15" in diameter.
